love at first sight! the ona bowery

My wife is crazy!
As she saws my order for the Ona bag, she wrote on facebook that I had bought my photo bag no. 50! I corrected here. I counted and there are only seven bags around. Yes, she replied, actual seven, but in your lifetime you bought 50 bags.
Is that a sort of women's logic?!
Sigh.
Its sunday early in the morning. She is still asleep. I will go now and count here shoes...

No fun at all. I call it a classic own-goal. :bang:
I showed here how much shoes from her are there around the room under the stairs.
Now she will drive tomorrow to Ikea and buy two new shoe cabinets...
My damnd idea will cost my around $100 for that... :eek:

Joe, when I bought the bowery I had chance to handle a couple of the bigger bags. While they are of the same high standard they're too big and heavier than I'd want to carry.

I took mine with me for a four-day trip to Périgord, stuffed with a DP1-2-3 Merrill set. Fits in really well, and hardly weighs a thing!

Ran into a young Danish woman who was carrying one she had just bought last week. If she's representative of the kind of people carrying this bag, that 'conversation-starter value' alone may be worth it :p !

I think this forum ought to be subtitled, "It's All Joe's Fault!" :rolleyes:

Why did you post this Joe? I promised no more new bag but anyway 1 more will not hurt. Just curious what color did you get? I will order black but the brown looks nice as well.
 
Joe, will it be big enough for 2 small bodies and 2 lenses, such as an x-e1 and a Bessa? I'm looking at the Bowery too, might pick one up in HK since they have a storefront...
 
Just got an email to say that mine is on its way.

(note to oneself....stop following joe's threads. They are a pain in the wallet)
