Low Light Shooting

Hi i am about to undertake some low light shooting with my R2a the mid range lenses i have at my disposal are the cv 50 2.5 a canon 50 1.8 and a canon 35 2.8 my question is do i have the right lens for the job or should i sell my 50 2.5 and buy the nokton 40 1.4(ive been offered one at a very good price)Selling the canons is not an option as i use them on my canon 7 and the 35mm on my Bessa R too.😕

Go for the 40/1.4.
If you want to do low light shooting your lens can't be fast enough.

Once again, I agree with Michiel.

35mm 1/2 or the Ultron 28 1/9. Bigger angles give you a possible lower "steady" shooting speed. Up to 1/8 - handheld of course.
