Low light

Right. 35mm 1.4.
I'm mainly curious about the OVF vs EVF for focusing in low light.

the question is answered by whether you use optical viewfinder more or electronic..

But the real answer is your eyeball.
 
In super low light, the EVF is more practical since the AF doesn't lock and if you MF, you will need the EVF to confirm focus. The EVF will also increase the brightness of the scene to make it easier (but the refresh rate become more sluggish as you would expect).

Whichever camera has the superior EVF will win in this case.
