lower post count?

I think a reduction in my post count is a good thing. Bring it on. Most of what we all wrote was 'throw away' material except for the 'what are you listening to' . I like that thread. I got a bunch of new artists , I liked it. Right up there with reviews of new BW film etc.

This site is becoming too, too, serious actually we needed threads like that to remind us there are other things besides OCD'ing on equipment. Just my 2¢

BTW Einars.. I like the 'typo' in beautiful... ;- )

Some folks lost posts during the recent trouble.

Very true G'man - but also, people are concerned about the fact that not all posts are of interest to everyone. Me too. For example - I don't own a Leica, and have no plans to own one in the future. Yet, every time I come here there are dozens of new posts about Leica's - criminy, there is even a whole section devoted to Leica's, so every time I log on I have to wade through all of these Leica posts. It takes a long time to read all of them - and then add to that the time it takes to post the fact that I have no interest in Leica's - I tell ya, we're talking serious time usage here. By the time I'm done with all that I hardly have time to read the posts I am interested in. It sucks. OK, I know I'm not anyone of note - but Jorge, please consider changing the rules of the site. Please!! I want to be a good member and all - but time is limited. So, a suggestion - change Rule #12 of the RFF site Rulebook - instead of saying "...when visiting this site you must read all posts (and comment on same), regardless of your interest's..." to "...when visiting this site you may read all posts (and comment on same), regardless of your interest's...". This small change would, IMHO save many people time and/or blood pressure meds. Just a thought 🙂

Jan, I like the FS posts that say, "Bought it from X who bought it from Z. Selling to buy more L gear."

You have to read the Leica threads! How else will you know how to apply gaffer tape properly.
Or how to best position the camera for viewing while holding down the paperwork.

Or which model makes the best doorstop.

🙂 🙂 🙂
