I am considering a one or two FSU LTM lens's for my Bessa R2.. I have an adapter..

Are there any back focus issues I should be aware of with any 50's, or 85's/90's ??

I am Looking at the 50/1.5 J3, 50/2 J8, 85/2 J9.

J8 is OK, don't know about the others.

On zorkis the lens to film plane is adjusted to 28.8mm by shims behind the lens mount ring. If you do have a focus problem with a particular lens, and the FSU lenses are a bit variable I'm told, you could try a cheap M adaptor permanently dedicated to that lens with the registration distance adjusted by paper shims between lens body and adaptor.

Thanks, It seems like a simple fix. I had a J8m on my Kiev 4a kit. (now sold). And it was a nice performer. Thought I might get a 50 to go with my CV25. I think I want the CV50 Nocton down the road. Or the CV40 Nocton. But that is later.

Well, I've got a J3 that I use on my R3A. I understand it can be iffy at times, not only due to the quality sometimes being a bit off, but also because the FSU lenses are set to focus every so slightly differently than the Leica lenses. However, I must have lucked out because I haven't really seen any problems with my J3. I got mine from suvorov_v on ebay, if that matters.
