Somehow I ended up with this lens. Can anyone tell me where I can find a front lens cap and/or a hood? Or can someone tell me the outer diameter of the front lens ring, so that I can try to find a suitable generic slip-on cap and hood?

Trouble is, the size means anything with 36mm on it will be sold off at a higher price as it will fit a lot of Leica lenses. Your best bet is to search ebay for a FED etc lens cap and ignore the name or else look for one that's blank. EDIT: I've a small collection of blank lens caps from the old USSR and they are very useful when you want to cover the makers' name everywhere...

I've got the FOOKH and it works (and looks) great.
The LTM Summaron is an amazing lens even without a hood - have fun with it.
