Luigi Case for Leica III (photos)

Today I received a beautiful case from Luigi for my Leica III.

It's my second case from Luigi and even though I thought it would be hard to do so he has produced a case that is even more impressive than the first one I have.

Here's some photos of the case and camera taken a few hours ago:

The strap has small, nice details like this piece of leather that slides over and cover the straps adjusting buckle.

How long was it for delivery?

I'm not as far west as you are (in Toronto) but just curious so that I know when to expect it when I order mine 🙂

Looks sweet but how hard is it to reload? Seems like a time consuming process.

Kyle, it's 'aged brown'. Wasn't able to adjust the colours quite right (digisnaps under a bright table lamp) - but trust me it looks great in real life 🙂

Todd, do you see the snaps on the back of the case in the second photo?
When you need to change film in the camera you un-snap these buttoms and the camera slides out of the case (with the strap still attached to the camera of course).

I'd say it adds..hmm...three seconds to take the case off...and...five seconds to put it back on 🙂

Rich, your earlier pictures convinced me to order one for my Canon 7 from him; these mearly confirm that decision 🙂

I went with the regular brown for one with the built in grip plus I ordered two of his film holders and asked for the clips on the strap ends. How long did it take to get yours once ordered?

I ordered a 'version' of the cases for the Leica III that Luigi don't keep in stock.
He started making it in end-December and I received it in the mail today - about four weeks later.

The first case I ordered was in stock and I received that in about a week.
