Personally, I cannot stand to use a camera in a case.
But a $200+ case should fit properly without having to trim it yourself.

No Luigi here, but my Mr Zhou case has the same type of "sloppy" fit, although it is cut properly to accommodate a Thumbs-up. And after two years of heavy use it is in very good shape. And it is way cheaper than the Luigi...
Yep I got one for Christmas and the fit sucks. Not happy with it at all.

Got a pic of the rear of the M9 case?
I'd be interested in seeing it because every Luigi case I've seen for the M9 has an overhang of leather on the top of the LCD screen.
I think I actually read somewhere that Luigi himself said it was designed that way. If that's true, your M9 case must have the overhang as well.

sure, Jian. here a fast iPhone pic of the backside... (sorry 4 the quality, I'm on the road now).
As you can see, the LCD is not covered.

Based upon that photo, I don't know that I'd call that a 'perfect' fit. That cut around the eyepiece looks a bit awkward, and the way it goes down and covers the 'PLAY' looks a bit odd too.

Same feeling here. It does not work with ThumbsUp. I must remove it before I can remove the camera case.
The 2 Luigi cases fit my M9P and MM with some of the same issues stated previously but on the back, he did stitch a border where the Thumbs Up would occupy.
I had a local shoe repair guy just cut out around the border and my Thumbs Ups fit perfectly.

I'd prefer not to as well but I recently discovered that my left eye is much more in focus when using my RFs and I have a very greasy nose. Rather then keeping a rag at ready in my pocket, I got the Luigi half cases with the back flap so my nose hits the back of the case instead of the screen.
It also makes setting the camera on a table less traumatic given the cushion of the leather.

I just ordered one of those JnK cases, so we'll see how the fit compares to the Luigi case.

Now this is what I would call a good fit.

Thanks for the pic drinkingeye. Unfortunately, I wouldn't classify the fit around the LCD as perfect either.
Here's a pic of my Ciesta case on my M9. Nearly perfect except that the leather on the left hand side of the LCD 'bulges' slightly.
