Luigi strap...does the shoulder pad move?

I just got a second-hand "deluxe strap." The shoulder pad doesn't seem to move, which is odd...and odd looking, on the side of my neck. Nice strap, BTW. It smells really good.

One of my three deluxe straps has a shoulder pad and it was easy to adjust while new but with increasing usage (~2 month) it became like "fixed" ...

I've had mine for months and mine moves too much 🙂

I've solved that problem with an elastic band on one side as a stopper.

Strange that it can't move though, it's just two pieces of leather with the strap running through two cutouts... May be the previous owner got annoyed like me and used glue instead of my rubber?

I have the deluxe strap that I ordered from Luigi with the half-case for my MP, and an older Luigi case that came with a CL I bought used. The shoulder strap on both move a bit too much and I'm trying to figure out how to stop it without glueing them.
