Luigi's new camera bags

Oh, I do too joe. I've already priced out the way I'd want a CL case with him, but it's going be a long while... :bang:

William

I'm sure that Luigi is good.

But this guy in the same praça as me would do that case for €30 to €50.

(Sorry Luigi, but you have a sort of fan club here, so happy selling)

I want to scream until my lungs fail. Poseurs do vex.

Could be worse Bill, I could want to spend the money on gun, ammo, crack and whores. In the light of that - a Luigi case for a couple of hundred bucks that a) protects my camera, b) looks and feels nice and c) supports people that still make things by hand - is not really worth screaming your lungs out.

There are a LOT worse things to worry and scream about......

Oh, and isn't posers by definition not using their equipment and instead focusing on the pure 'looks' of their equipment. I take a lot of photos, use my cameras - as they are fitted in Luigi cases. Wouldn't call myself a poser.

Eh, so go ahead and scream.

Beautiful cases - they ain't cheap, but they're functional and I imagine they'd be good for years and years of service. I don't get the 'poser' comment and certainly not given that the person who originated the thread is clearly anything but a poser.

Peace be on you. I'm going out to take photographs, sans custom-leather, sans uber-chic lens, and sans approval from those who have their noses so far in the air it looks like someone waved a small turd under them. How unhip of me.

I'm with Bill on this one... I don't dig these bags at all.

However, I do believe Luigi makes some fine products (I own one of his cases) and his craftsmanship is top notch. I can certainly respect the fact that he is handmaking these bags, and they're much cheaper than some of my mom's Italian bags. 😉

Mea culpa, guys and gals. I'm on my first 12-ounce bottle of medication, I'm seeing things in a better light. I'm sure the bag is wonderful. Wish I could afford one. I'd cut eye-holes in it and wear it on my head like a hat. Which would be a switch, usually I wear my a** for a hat, like in my last few posts. Sorry for all that.

Best Regards,

Bill Mattocks

Hmmmm....beer!

I guess you don't want to hear that Luigi is hard at work on a hand-stitched leather beer cozy? ;-)

Actually, a 'camera and beer' thread would probably be awesome.

May I suggest a BBQ-party, with some other kettle of fish - just between handmade deluxe gentlemen.

Pathetic, the same post that this userid has made twice now. Obviously a member here that created a new account to post this crap.

May I suggest that Jorge tracks your I.P. address and throws you - and your other I.D. - out of here?

Geeze,

These cases kinda make the paper bag I keep my M2 in look tacky. On the other hand using a case like that to tote my MD 40 would just be wrong.

"Critical member"? Yes, I'd agree, using somewhat rougher language...😉

I'm with Bill insofar as the bags don't do it for me at all, but the camera (half-) cases do intrigue me. I don't really "do" the case thing (at any price), but Luigi's are lovely to look at.
