I have a Lumi-Field Finder 100, the leather case has Canon embossed on the top. Around the eyepiece it has Nippon Kogaku Japan and on the black barrel it has the numerals 2.5 in white, it does not have parallax correction. I can't find anything about who made these finders, would Nikon have made them for Canon?

Thank you for your help.

Nippon Kogaku is Nikon. Case probably came from another item.

Thank you. If that is the situation how can I tell if this finder is for the 100mm. It is a nice, tight fit in the Canon case. Does the 2.5 have any significance that would indicate which lens it is for?

I was way off, this is a finder for a Nikon rangefinder 2.5 cm lens, It just happens to be in a Canon Lumi-Field Finder 100 leather case. I would still like to find out more about this finder.
