Here, not to seem like a drooling advocate for this camera, which is not for everybody. But I just wanted to throw in a closeup of that chick picture. A lens this sharp on a tiny little digicam seems like some kind of miracle, to me. I did this with the manual focus set to .3 meters.

Well, dropping a kidney for an M8 seems OK but a kidney for a point and shoot seems like a lot...

If you get the optional viewfinder for the kidney, the camera is cheaper.

Here...I took a few snapshots of some of our chickens this afternoon. These are all at F/4. so, no dramatic depth of field stuff, but definitely a bit of pleasing blur.

I like the first chick, it seems to have the attitude
