Lumix LX3, which CV viewfinder?

Just bought myself a Lumix LX3 and would like to get a viewfinder.
Voigtländer seems to be the best deal but when I read posts here I hear people using the 21 mm finder as well as the 28/35 minifinder. My guess is that the 25 mm would be the best to get. Will be used at the widest setting (24 mm).
Any opinions/experiences?

It's going to very from finder manufacturer to manufacturer. I learned this a lot over the years of working with a Bessa T. You are in a much better position than most to see what is what as you have both the LCD and quick downloading to a computer.

I do not know anything about the LX3 as I'm a GR-D I owner. So it's easier for me. You might look into an old Nikon Zoom finder for 35 and longer. Shorter I'd look into the 28 Metal Finder from CV and use the outside lines. I bet it will be close enough. Remember you are not shooting with a Nikon F (100% frame shown in viewfinder).

How is the lens distortion wise? I'm sure it's sharp but I love the low distortion of the Ricoh lens.

I can´t say really. I´ve just had the camera a few days and a lot of other things on my schedule. I have read about barrel distortion which the in-camera jpeg processing corrects. So does Silkypics when shooting raw. I can only confirm that there is not much of visible distortion but I´m pretty sure it´s there if you use another raw converter. Dpreview has some posts regarding this.
I doesn´t bother me that much and after all you have to sacrifice something when building a 24-60 (eq.) f.2.0-2.8 zoom fitted into a quite small camerabody.

I'm using the 21mm Finder..it's about 95% accurate or better...even at close distance 4 feet or so, the crop line is close.....
Oh. it's the Voigtlander finder....
