Lumix LX7 / Leica D-Lux 6 Photos

if only the LX7 would fit a jeans pocket :/ I'm loving the RX100, but miss having a wider FOV, i really liked the 24mm on my GX100 and LX3! maybe on the RX200...

I also picked up the LX7 for $300 USD on sale around the holidays. My goal was to add a nice easy to use point and shoot to my arsenal. The fact that it had a nice wide angle Leica lens was just part of it. The video it shoots is top notch as well. Very flexible camera, lots of power and goes from auto to manual 100% if you want.

I'm very happy with it and the results from it.

My folks cat, Cat. Since we've got other cat pictures, I thought they'd go well. Plus she posed for me like a true model. :D

Both of these were shot 1:1. (One of the things I love about this camera.)

An old country road leading to extended family's farm. I keep saying I'll take some photos here and forget, then one day on the way to their place I had the LX7 on me, just after rain, and got this shot.

The last two are longer exposure examples, both taken via a tripod.

Maggie-

If you are not under contract with Leicasonic's sales team you should be!

...however, those bathroom remodeling shots brought back some very unpleasasnt memories :p

Superb sharpness, various subjects, all well done.
Some are stunning. Way better than Leica's Official pix on web,
from the new M-E...
Personally i see no point in a F.F camera anymore, using the P/S...

Thank you so much!

It is, in every sense, a Leica. Especially the gorgeously capable Vario-Summilux.

Nice photos in this thread! There's a postal package with an LX3 in it traveling towards me, somewhere, and though it may be a bit older, I'm really looking forward to receiving it!
