Eid Biryani
by *monz*, on Flickr

I'm not sure if this count because Mrs Monz made it, not me 🙂
This the "traditional" Eid biryani in our household. It took 3 hours to make. There are more steps involved than in a chemistry experiment. It has four layers: two of rice, two of mutton. It contains over twenty spices including saffron. It tastes heavenly...

Contrats to Mrs Monz - I LOVE Biryani !!

No pictures I'm afraid but I had a saffron crème anglaise with coffee air as a cheeky dessert this afternoon, thankfully more crème than air, and thankfully for my wallet a client was paying.

Stewart, even 'dan saff' most of us call it sausage and mash, within the M25 or along the Estuary 'Sausage' may be substituted for 'Banger,' then again Banger may well be substituted for Eel and I don't think your photograph would have looked quite as appetizing had that been the case with your lunch. 🙂

Egg and Prawn Noodle

In my on-going attempt to learn to cook, I tried my hand at egg and prawn noodles. When I say "I," it's a slight exaggeration. I got a little help from the kids and Missus. The end result: scrumptious, even if I say so myself 🙂

It always tastes better on the clients' account 😀
