LUX 35 F1.4 PreASPH on M8

Hello all,

Heard many people said it cannot be used on M8 since the protection ring at the rear element many crash the M8 shutter, but also many people say it won't . So could anybody body advise it can or cannot be used on M8? Thank you

I am using mine on M8.2 without any issue.

The later 35mm Summilux pre-asph lenses can be mounted on the M8/8.2 without any problems. I believe if you send yours over to Solms they can adjust it to be this way; at a cost, I'm sure.

I'm thinking of selling mine due to financial stresses. Keep an eye out if you're looking for one.

It fits just fine on the camera (at least my titanium one does). Leica does not code it though, which for a 35mm lens is of minor importance.

35mm f1,4 pre-asph (1970) sn 2391902 worked fine on an m8. coding is possible too.
