Hi those knowledgeable,
my this nights message is - in mid of first roll Lynx 5000 stopped to release shutter. Nothing special preceded it, before some hours it worked. I mean, it still winds, shutter button can be pressed, it silently 'clicks' inside and nothing more. Shutter leafs even don't try to move as it happens with stuck shutters.

Right now I googled on Dan Mitchell's article on 5000 and in bottom he mentions this (or similar?) problem - "If the shutter release button does not fire the shutter, you can rotate the eccentric located on the release lever attached to the helicoid. Obviously this can only be done after removing the front panel."
Maybe I should peel off leatherette, maybe there are adjustment holes....

I wonder if this is common problem on Lynx and what is reason - misadjustment, else ?

Well, what happens when monkey gets internet ? He learns to google lots of info and starves until death, 'cause it forgets how to get bananas off the tree. This is my story.

At the and, it happened to be stuck shutter. Though. Probably after I carried camera in bag, humid weather or what made leafs to stick together. First time I took front element off, I didn't realize this, so I were dead sure it's something different. Second time I carefully poked leafs with tootpick and voila, it works again.

Before using I cleaned leafs from front side, not from backside - sure this pays back now, but I wanted to start using Lynx. I yet have to put back S2 from which I dismantled shutter and cleaned completely.
