Yeah, I still use film...
Well, today was a beautiful day in Connecticut, so I took a little ride with the 5000E that I just finished working on. Here are some of the shots I took at Hammonasset State Park:
Things were going along really nice. I took a shot, wound the film, and....POP! The winding lever jerked and suddenly got really easy.
Hmmmm... this doesn't feel right...
This was the result:
Guess I'll have to dig into it again. :bang:
Oh well...

Film is the other way
I like the lens performance on the first / top shot. If it's not too tricky a repair the camera's lens looks to be a good one

Fixed it!

Took the bottom off and found that the screw holding the winding gears had backed off, allowing the gears to become unmeshed. Forgot to check that when I had it apart previously. Works like a champ again!!

Well-known
How lucky was that. I really like the first 2 photos, great little performers these Yashicas. What film and developer combination did you use ?

Yeah, I still use film...
I get all my photo supplies from Freestyle Photographic Supply. I use their own Arista Edu 100 and 400 film along with Arista 76 film developer (1 to 1) and Aristadol paper developer. Arista II glossy VC RC paper. Nothing fancy, but it works really well for me.
