Thanks,Interesting photo. But at ISO 800 the blueish and vertically structured color noise in the sky is really bad, I think. Never saw that much noise in my M240 night shots. Any idea, what happened there?
The shoot is underexposed -2EV @ISO 800 in order to get a short exposure time. This must be the explanation?

A great time for winter photos with aprox minus 15 and the sun close to appearing here in the north of Norway.

Flyalf - you are so lucky being so close to polar regions because you have much longer in that 'colour zone' during sunrise and sunset.
Here at the equator - that magic time is half an hour max!

Yes, I know. The light during the "color zone" is simply stunning.
Here is a photo of a traditional boathouse (naust). On the left hand side you can also see a nest-box put up by fishermen for the soon-to-return migrating sea-birds. Thanks for watching, please feel free to leave a comment.

From a roadtrip at north-east of Norway. Temperatures from -15 to -22 C degrees, and quite a lot of wind. Here from crossing one of several mountain passes (Sennalandet):

All with 28m Summicron ASPH except last one which was taken with 50mm SUmmilux pre-ASPH E46

From hometown Tromsø. Im not yet conviced about the bokeh of snowflakes from the 35/1,4 FLE. But its really a great lens, so need to compare with other lenses on out-of-focus snowflakes
. Strange that so few reviewers test this
.

Shot this one hand held, in poor lighting -- challenging!
Leica M 240
Leica Summicron-M 35mm F2 ASPH
ISO 3200
The re-sized (and compressed JPEG) doesn't look at good as the original, but I thought I'd contribute anyway.
