M body rentals in New York City area

I'm looking to re-familiarize myself on the M RF focusing as I decide whether to buy a used M6. In the past, I've found that renting is a good way to "try out" things before purchase.

Anyone know of a place in NYC that rents the M6 with lenses?

I tried Fotocare, but they only do M8 (which prompted the question: Why would you want a film camera?!?).

Someone suggested I just buy one and then return it if not happy. This seems a little lousy to me, but I'm old fashioned (rarely return things even when really unhappy!). What do people think of this practice?

I'll add that it would be ideal if the shop also sells used gear, since I'd like to have a second potential place (other than the web) to purchase from.

There was a place in the west village, I think, that sold and rented Rfs and large format gear but I can't for the life of me remember the name.
