Has anyone here purchased an M-classic bag? if so, your experience with it? rommy enough for 2 RF's and lenses/accessories? build? well designed? customer service? The bag looks like a nice alternative to a billingham. Please offer any experience you may have.

i have 2 and am thinking about a third. my buddy just bought one for his minolta digital slr kit.
lotsa room for 2 cameras and a few lenses, film, meter etc.
great ergodynamics(sp?) for actually shooting on the go.

you need to understand that there is no padding whatsoever inside the bag.
i took some closed cee camping foam and cut a few discs for the bottom of the various pockets and am very happy with it.

Thanks Back...

I plan to use it for a gen purpose bag. I'm doing more shooting in clubs and on the street these days.

Great bags, excellent customer service. They're great people to deal with.

I bought one (first version) but I didn't use it at all and sold it. No padding; very abrasive feeling fabric (would brass up a black painted camera or lens really fast, I bet); clumsy to open and close with its belt strap fasteners. I realize some folks love these, but it was totally not what my style.

I bought one and I like it. It was new old stock, so it came in less than list price. I carry one M3 plus gadgetry. You pad it the amount you feel necessary. Customer service from Seth is exemplary. 🙂 🙂

FWIW,

The M-Classics is one of the bags that will be reviewed in my upcoming "Rangefinder Bags" article.

And in all honesty, it's the one that I'm most interested in trying out.
