I've used mine for about a year or so and find it sufficient to hold 2 bodies and 3 lenses. I usually place a Domke 8-12" wrap inside the larger compartment to buffer the 2nd body. The outside 3 pockets hold my extra lens, handheld meter, film and little extras.
I too hang it over my opposite shoulder to bring the bag higher and closer to my body. In this way, I can flip the flap open and grab the camera from the small inner secured pocket without much fuss.
The only negative thing I can say about this bag is there should have been a quick release with the center strap. I believe this belt like strap is for long travel time and more security. Only when I use this strap, I can't get to the camera quick enough.
One final note, I purchased one of the remaining old styles they had in stock. So, I am not sure how much more durable or comfortable the new / current styled bag is. Either case, it's pretty much a RF bag.
