Hi All,
Some time ago, I got myself Konica M-Hexanon 50mm lens, yet I haven't got me a decent body for it.
Until now I use Zorki-4 with Jupiter-8 that works excellent for me, but it's an "old dog" and I'm beginning to notice that.
Now, that I saved some money, I can proceed to a better instrument.
I was thinking of the Bessa R2M to be the best body for my Konica 50mm as a nice replacement/addition to my good old russian babe.

Does any of you have knowledge or experience with such combination ?

(I had some thoughts towards the Hexar RF, but it somehow looks too electronic/automatic to me)

I'll appreciate any comments you have on the subject.

Thanks in advance.
Dotan.

If I remember right, all the lenses that came out later on were adjusted to focus right on other m bodies. and r2m would do you fine, I use my zeiss planar on my r2a to great effect. You might also want to look at a r3m if you are not going to go into 35mm's

Thanks wintoid,
My concern is with focusing problems. I've heard of such with other M-mount bodies.

There never was a universal problem with the Konica KM mount lenses on a Leica or CV M cameras. There were some problems with specific lens/body combinations and those are easily fixable. The Konica lenses are exellecnt performers and repesent a great value for the $$$.

I use Leica, Konica and CV bodies and lenses and mix-n-match with great results. I've never had an issue.

Best regards,

Bob🙂

Oh, I think I will spoil myself with a wider lens in the future, and a 35mm is a good candidate.
Thanks.
