Does anyone know whether putting a UV filter on a Konica M-Hexanon 50mm lens will obstruct either the lens cap or the built in hood?
Agreed, when closed down a stop or two or more, it's equally sharp from the center to the edges. But wide open, it emphasizes the center even though the corners remain sharp. The out of focus areas are very very nice.merciful said:Glad to help. Wicked nice lens, too, though a trifle modern in character for me.

I have some kind of filter on the front of all my lenses plus a small shade on each one - never use lens caps. With the Hex 28 I use a 46mm wide-angle shade from heavystar on eBay.RayPA said:True, but not so on the Hex 28. I put a B+W UV on the front and now the cap won't go on. 😡

I take it yours didn't come with the shade?
