M Monochrom with wide lenses

I was told that the M9 didn't work well with a Zeiss Biogon 4.5/21 because the angles from lens to bayer filter were too great.
The M9 has angled filters over each pixel.

Does the lack of a bayer filter improve this so that a zeiss 4.5/21 will work OK or not. i.e. are there still angled filters in the sensor design or have they been removed completely and how does this affect the sensors ability to receive light from oblique angles?

What thinks you?

The M9 works perfectly with wides that have a very deep nodal point like the 21/4.5 and the Super Angulon among others. just convert the DNG files into black and white files for use.

Thread or no, I have used a Super Angulon on my M9 for a year and it's the sharpest lens I own. Wide open the corners are soft but they are on almost every lens for that matter. Stopped down to f/5.6 and the SA is very sharp. At f/8 it is far better than the M9 sensor and is sharp out to the corners.

Those are taken with the C-Biogon 21 on the M9 and corrected through CornerFix.
It works.
