M mount 50mm question.

I agree, the Hexanon M 50 is vastly under rated. I just bought one to use it on Sony and this lens made me to put other lenses (50mm) to rest that included summicron.
The filter size of 40.5 doent bother me because my Rokkor M 40 shares same thread and these fliters are less expensive than 39mm.

apart from what Ken Rockwell wrote about this lens-( I suspect he held this lens in his hand and put it down) and wrote his assumptions.
There are hardly any discussions about Hexanon M lenses, I wonder why? There are hardly any thread in other forums.
Anyway back to the OP, why not have a go at this Konica 50 while it is still around £400. I am sure you will be surprised!
And if you can find Hexanon M 21-35 f3.4~4 Dual,you will be a winner, according to Danstelle,its not a dog,its lion🙂

Contrast a problem with digital.
Highlights are burned away.
I prefer low contrast but sharp lenses.
One can always boost contrast.
