Long time without sharing some images taken, (prior to Covid), with an m10 and Zeiss 35mm 1.4 ZM taken north of Romania..

Yet more images that tempt me towards the Distagon 35. I already have the Voigtlander 35mm f1.4 and f1.2 v1, but the sharpness and rendering of the Distagon wide open is very appealing.

It's the sharpest lens in my bag - even beating the 50mm Asph Summilux-M as to sharpness! There is virtually nothing not to like about this lens. Definitely a keeper.

Big
Heavy
VF blockage
VF blockage is < 20% in the lower right-hand corner and it's never bothered me; I don't even notice it anymore. It is relatively "big" (I'll give you that one) - but construction is not that heavy compared to Leica glass (381g for the Distagon and 320g for the Summilux).

As to performance [sorry to say] the Zeiss is better overall, especially wide-open.
