Hi all,
Does anyone out there know where I could get a quick load kit and a rewind lever for an M2?
Thanks
David

They have rewind levers by Photoequip at Tamarkin (http://www.tamarkin.com/catalog/products/leica/leicamaccs.html).
The quick load kits may be harder to find. I think you can have DAG install one when you send the camera in for a CLA.

Don Goldgerg. He is one of the most reputable Leica repair persons in the US (I am assuming you are in the US). Website is: http://www.dagcamera.com.
You are welcome, and welcome to RFF, David.

Thanks again Ray,
I'm in Glasgow, Scotland but will check out DAG just the same,
It's a great site and I'm glad to have discovered it,
Cheers

Unless you have used the quickload kit and are proficient with it, I find that using a second take-up spool to pre-thread the film is as fast ot faster than the quickload kit. Also costs a lot less.

Thanks Brian, I've been trying to get an extra take up spool but have had no luck yet.

Easiest way to get a spare take-up spool is through 3bay. That said, a Zorki or FED spool *should* work. I know for sure that they work on the thread mount Leicas and I'm fairly certain that they will work on an M2 as well.
