M2 rangefinder patch = 135mm

just wondering if anyone has ever heard of this, or if i'm way off. the 90mm frame lines are only a little larger than the rangefinder patch, so it would seem likely.

No, it's not even close. The Elmarit 2.8 135mm with goggles works on an m2 though.

You can think about it like this:

Imagine 135mm framelines. Their long side is the same size as the short side of the 90mm lines.

rowland, i need a little help with that. do you mean that the vertical frame lines on the 90, are the length of the horizontal frame width on the 135?

Yes.

Similar to 35 and 50mm framelines.
