M2 slow speeds - springs sounding after exposure?

Hello all,

Another M2 question - I've tried searching the forum for this, but haven't found an answer that covers it specifically:

I've noticed that on the slower speeds, I still hear some gear/spring movement (sounds like the self-timer winding) for a brief moment after the second shutter closes. So it comes out something like: "click-rrrrrrrr-click-rr". (Very precise description, I know... 😱)

Is this normal, or should I be concerned?

It's the same with my M4-2 - was also concerned.

Same with my M4-2 too. Asort of buzzing clockwork sound trailing off briefly after the click of the click of the second curtain closing.

Pentax Spotmatics make that sound too. Its because of the way the shutter's slow speed mechanism works.
