M246 line in sensor

Hi everyone, I just got a M246 second hand but is pretty much brand new because it’s only a month into its warranty.

However, I noticed this faint vertical line right down the centre of the sensor. Is this normal? It almost looks like it’s there by design. Thanks a lot

Could it be a scratch of some kind? Can you see any affect on the pictures?

My guess is it isn’t because it’s very straight and goes all the way through. I’ve only shot with it for an hour at night but the photos look fine.
