great to see (despite the glass-half-empty crowd above) that he made the total!
Maybe we will see if a full-size sensor will work! fingers crossed. It's always possible that this kind of project will inspire an existing company. Cosina, we are looking at you...

I am very glad he made it and I am excited to see how this works out.
For me the "warm fuzzies" are just fine. But it is a lot more than that. It is receiving the drawings and understanding the technology that was used to do it. From that point it can quickly becomes a situation where I can get a quote from someone to do this for me. Maybe not Oliver, but someone else will be able to pick up the ball and run with it.
"Send me your M3 and I will custome fit this digital back that can become part of the camera set. A film back and a digital back."
But it goes much further. It becomes a simple step to making a few changes and suddenly I also have a back that fits my LX, or my Yashica-Mat, or any other camera where it is feasible to convert between film and digital backs.
You keep your "warm fuzzies." I want the drawings and other details thank you very much.
