M39 Nikkor W C 25/4 on Bessa R3A?

Hello,

is it possible (of course with an adapter) to safely mount A Nikkor E C 25/4 in LTM mount on the Bessa R3A? Isn't it too deep?

If it would fit - would it be worth the investment when compared to VC Skopar 25/4 ?

The W-Nikkor 2.5cm f4 has a fairly large rear element/shroud, but its not as large as other wide angle Nikkors, so it should work fine on a Bessa.

The choice between a CV 25/4 and this lens really comes down to do you want a modern saturated look (CV 25/4) or a classic lower contrast w/vignetting (wide open at least) look. The Nikkor is also fairly rare so priced accordingly. You could probably buy five or six CV 25/4 lenses for the price of the Nikkor.
