This thread is ...at least confusing me! So many good examples, I have two 50mm (cron and CV heliar f2) and I only miss the m4/3 camera...hmmm, maybe Santa will find that OM.D....

Great work everyone! I don't see any 50mm Summicron or Nikkor 50/1.4 LTM examples. Does anyone own a Dual Range Summicron? Examples with a m4/3 camera? OM-D even? I may be able to get my hands on an OM-D with M adapter soon. Give all my lenses a try.

This is an excellent photo! Any more info on the lens?
Here's my contribution (and I believe actually my first post after lurking for awhile):

Hmmmm YES the OM-D
Hmmmm YES the OM-D
the OMD is great and I would love to have one. However the money involved makes me strongly look at the E-PL5 which has the same new Sony 16Mp sensor and the same processing engine, with the previous IBIS.
Missing are the 5 axis IS, the weatherproofing, and the EVF.
However, for $500 currently available at discount is the E-PL5 body, rendering the same Image Quality of the OM-D. (currently discounted on the Olympus web site). Much easier on my particular pocket book. I have a few OM legacy lenses I am dying to try on the new sensor.
I've owned an E-PL1 since they came out and can appreciate the use of legacy lenses and manual operation.
