Uh-oh, just come from the shop and a play with a black M4-2 (ser# 148xxxx makes it about 1977 vintage?).
It's been serviced at some stage, and everything is very smooth. No visible dents and minor ware. Very tempted at AUS$1,100 (about US$800).
The front viewfinder glass is flush with the baseplate/body. Does this indicate a brass top plate as the guy in the shop says?
Any comments appreciated.
