M4 vs M4-2 film advance lever

Always wondered if, from a users point of vieW, there is any difference between the M4-2 and the beefier M4 film advance lever... any comments?

I've had both and never noticed a difference though I didn't have them simultaneously.

Functionally the same as far as I can tell, but visually the M4 wind on is awful.

I thought the M4 and M4-2 had the same plastic-tipped lever?

I think Chris is correct. HuubL had M3 preview, selftimer and advance levers put on his M4; if I were to shoot with a M4, I'd want solid metal levers a la HuubL.

I've had both, sequentially, in order, and cannot recall a difference. Both had the plastic tip. Was the angle or thickness of the M4 different? I never noticed and thought I would have.

Correct. I have replaced the lever on my black M6 with a chrome M3 lever. I like the M3 lever much better and the chrome lever helps me distuingish from the black M3
