M42 lenses on Leica M6?

Is there an adapter to put Pentax screw mount M42 lenses on M6?

I'm not sure whether there are any direct from Leica M to M42 thread, but there are M39 to M42 adapters with the right thickness that you can put on a LTM-M adapter.

You won't get rangefinder coupling though, so there is no way to focus except by guessing and the distance scale. Also the SLR lenses are comparatively big, so it may not be all that great.
