As a reader more than a writer, I have been following lots of threads in the past months. So I would like to say HELLO to the members of RFF!
You have been inspiring in many respects so far...
My first post is a simple question: How can I pull the top of my Leica M5?
I would like to clean the finder a bit, something I have done to several fixed lens rangefinders with good success. There is no problem with wind lever, sync posts etc., but I can only lift the top some Millimeters, then it gets cought by something in the center, maybe the hotshoe. Do I have to take it off? And if so - how?
The Body is well used, but works fine exept the finder view. I would like to try myself, instead of having it done for a lot of money. If it works, it is fine for me....
Any help appreciated!
