Hi Fellas:
Just made a deal with this Black Classic M6, w/lightmeter as a gift.
Nice condition, RF an VF clean, I "feel" dry a little bit the lever, but I think is a good deal for usd 500.00...Btw how can I know which magnification on VF has??? number:2064xxx (1995 I guess).
How can I turn off the exposimeter??My m6ttl has off position :p..
Any advices on this beauty are Welcome...

If there's nothing wrong with it, it's the best deal I've ever heard of for an M6. Finder magnification is likely .72. If it has 28mm framelines, then it is .72. If the 90mm frameline appears by itself with no 28mm frameline, then it's .85. You turn off the meter by turning the shutter speed dial to "B."

Silly price. Its a .72 finder.
You dont turn the meter off on an M6 as far as I know

Btw thats around £320-350. An M6 in the UK is around £700-800

Your very lucky to pick it up at that price :)

If that's properly working it's a crazy deal! That or my M6 would sell for a couple of hundred (not that it's for sale even if it were 7000)

There were a few m6 classics with .85 finders, toward the end of the production run. That's why I suggested checking the framelines.

BTW, I like the missing plastic insert in the frameline selector lever. Gives it a sort of skeletonized/customized look!

Thx a lot friends....Yes is a .72 VF: I can see the 28/90 frames...¡¡
Now Im gonna look for a gossen lunasix 3 manual...:D:D
Happy regards...

There is an M6 Classic advertised locally today. While it is in excellent condition it seems way overpriced. The ad says he won't go below $1,850.00.

I thought the B turns off the meter. BTW at $500 who cares if it works, just get a CLA and you are still way ahead.

An excellent deal, unfortunately.... I say unfortunately, because I think M's are waaaaaay overpriced at the moment.....
