Hi All,

I changed rolls this morning on my M6 ("classic"). When I got to the point of re-attaching the bottom plate, I found that it won't fit flush with the bottom (rewind crank side).

If I turn the bottom key either way, it won't lock the bottom.

Please advise.

If the base plate will fit with no film in the camera, it sounds a bit like the cassette not being pushed in far enough (that often happens if the rewind crank fork hasn't engaged properly with the film spool). It could be a rogue cassette, either too large or misshapen.

Like I said, it sounds like the film isnt properly inserted. You need to lift up the back plate and make sure that the film isnt being blocked from going all the way up.

This has got to be a joke post. You're all being gullible.
