Hi -- since yesterday my M6 constantly flashes the underexposure LED no matter what I set as speed or aperture combination I set. Any idea what could be wrong?
Yes, the lens cap is off
It is a Wetzlar M6, but the circuit board was swapped for a more modern one about 1.5 years ago.

Circuit board is malfunctioning, it needs to be changed again.

Try replacing the batteries with known good ones. Exercise the iso wheel on the backdoor a few times and clean the contacts inside the rear door.

assuming you are not using a strange lens that blocks light inside of the camera (for example the 21) it could also be the ISO setting... maybe it is set to iso 25?
next are batteries,
Good luck.

Thanks, this is even without a lens. Yes, the back door is another candidate. I will try with new batteries today and clean the contacts. It was also suggested to swap out the back door and try with another, but I have no other at the moment.

Very odd, it's working again… I didn't do anything, just changed lenses.

Intermittent electrical faults are the most frustrating. You may have just bumped it enough to make it work again.
