M6 problem with ZM Sonnar

My ZM Sonnar 1.5 mounts just fine on two M6s - both Wetzlar models - but will not mount on a later Solms M6. The lens goes into the camera bayonet, but will not turn far enough to latch - it feels like it has hit something solid that keeps it from turning. Other lenses, including ZM and CV, seem to mount just fine on this camera. What should I be looking for?

It may be a beginning to look at the mount from the back, with the shutter open at B, when trying to mount the lens.

[edit] If it's a matter of tolerances, then there may be nothing you can do.

Did the lens come with any warranty? If so an option might be contacting the merchant and telling them your lens issues. It could be a tolerance issue with either body or lens.
