M6 Top Plate sources

MY new to me M6 came with a factory engraved name of the previous owner. who happens to be a famous composer and conducter but he is not me.. so the top plate needs to be changed.

Whats the best source for a M6 CLassic top plate with or without the hardware(glasses, red dots, etc) ?

and does a M6 TTL top plate fit on an M6 Classic?

As an aside to M6 top plates, does anyone know where I might get a late M3 top, without serial number engraving. I have tried DAG/Sherry/Malcolm Taylor etc!

If these were books rather than M6s they'd command a higher price as 'association copies'. Leave the top plates on and enjoy!

As an update, i decided to leave the top plate alone for now, $175 will buy me alot of film.
For now, a black tape will do.

by thumb will wear right through the engraving at the rate i am shooting anyways
