M6 with 35mm Summi...What is the next lens?

Perhaps ypou should keep in mind that the great majority of M cameras out there do not have a 75mm frame line, so you're out of luck if you want to buy an older body like an M2, M3, or M4 as a second camera.

Well, he'd only be out of luck if he doesn't like accessory finders. Cosina/Voigtlander makes a nice top-of the-camera 75mm finder. I actually like it better than the built-in 75mm frameline.

My choice would be the 90mm Summicron-M (either the APO or the pre), makes a good combination with the 35mm, IMHO.

Cheers,

Gabor

Well...I landed a few good deals on a 50mm F/2 Summicron and a 90mm F/2.8 Elmarit. The 50mm has barely been used, and the 90 was from new old stock, and purchased from an authorized dealer, with the full Leica Passport Warranty, and at a price far less than the Summarit.

So, I now have a 35, 50 and 90. My next lens may be either a 75mm Summarit or most probably a Zeiss ZM 28mm. Thanks, Brad

Nobody has mention the excellent Konica Hexanon 90/2.8 Great lens and can be had for around $400-450.
