I've had a serious GAS attack!

I was shopping for an M2 but figured with a future CLA I was better with the M6ttl. Selling off some backup Nikon gear (and more to be sold) I grabbed a 35 lux and a M6ttl for $1100 and $1200 respectively.

I was holding out for a .85 viewfinder but couldn't pass on the value of a ttl at that price.

How does the m6ttl work with a 35 lux on a .72 viewfinder vs the .85

If you wear spectacles/glasses, the .85 for 35 will be a bit difficult, not impossible, but difficult. Just use the entire viewfinder as an estimate in quick situations.

The .72 works very well for 35mm.

The .85 makes it difficult to see

the 35 mm frame. I tend to have crooked horizons as a result. I plan on securing another M body (.72) and using the .85 w/ a longer focal length i.e., 75mm.

you bought my first leica setup! m6ttl and 35 'lux...

you're gonna have a great time making photos!

except for the fact i now prefer my mp ... my m6ttl still holds a nice place in my heart!

hope it works out for you as well as it worked out for me!
