just curious
I anticipate over the forthcoming winter there will be situations where the camera will be with me in some wet places. Im used to using EOS 1 series cameras both film and digital in bad weather, also EOS 5 (A2E etc) and EOS 3 cameras in bad weather regradless of whether or not they are sealed bodies and these have always performed without incident even in downpours.
So apart from the obviousness of not dropping the camera into puddles or submerging it, has anyone here used a Leica M6TTL or M7 in foul weather and can tell me how they fair?

I've used mine in the rain without problems. It sits under my jacket until I want to shoot - out for the shot(s) and it's ok. However, I'm not sure I would expose it to a prolonged downpour. I certainly haven't done that - but shooting in the rain - no problem

I wouldn't hesitate to use my M6 in the rain. I would be careful about protecting it when I wasn't shooting though, it wouldnt just hang out letting the elements take it's toll on it.
