m6ttl shutter problem?

i suspect my shutter has a problem at 1/1000s. happened on 2 occasions.

m6ttl, cv 15mm

m6ttl, hex 28mm

Looks to me more like subject matter. Are you thinking it's tapering as it travels?

I think you just made the lens flare twice... With strange results: I see the rays apparently cut in a straight line. I think, however, that the camera is doing its job...

Yes, the flares are "cut" in both instances. Only on the vertical axis.

So far these 2 shots happened at 1/1000s. It seems like it.

Then perhaps you can wait until the camera as a whole receives skilled attention. If, however, you make a habit of photographing the sun with fast film...
