M7 finder upgrade question

Hello, folks...

I had the MP finder upgrade done about a month ago and I wanted to check in with others that had this procedure done.

Is it normal for the framelines to have MUCH reduced visibility after the upgrade?

The leftmost lines in all of the focal lengths is especially faint.

I'm not getting flare in the rf patch anymore, but composing shots is sort of hard when I have to concentrate on picking out the framelines.

Has anyone else experienced this or did the upgrade possibly not come out right?

I've had the camera back for about a month now, but now that I'm away on vacation it's the first time that I'm heavily using it and it's starting to bug me.

my M7 has just returned from a trip to Solms, after an MP-finder upgrade. Apart from the no longer existing flare, I notice that the framelines are (or seem?) a touch brighter than before. I think the fix was worth the money. In your place, I would call Leica. As everybody else, sometimes, they just don't get it right at the first attempt. No big deal.

Leica didn't do this procedure for me and because of difficulties I had with the company that did do it, I'll likely send it somewhere else to have it rectified. I'm not going to mention here who that was, because I'm not about badmouthing anyone.

I just wanted to hear from someone else that had it done so I knew that I wasn't imagining a problem.

I'm just wondering what could have gone wrong the make the brightlines so not bright.
