Hi George,
if you never had unagi (eel) here in Japan you truely missed some very delicious food. I live in Sapporo (Hokkaido) and already in the last 5 years, the face of the city has changed a lot. About photography, I highly recommend the book "Hokkaido" from the photographer Michael Kenna. Only photos taken in winter but very very good.
Cheers,
maddoc

Hi, maddoc -
Eel? Nope, I'll take rattlesnake. Don't chuckle - - a six-foot diamondback will provide quite a bit of meat for a "chicken" stew.
Cheers, George

Hi George,
rattlesnake ? If I ever have a chance, I will give it a try for sure ! Either as a "chicken" stew or whatever else is offered.
