I had already known that my 25/28mm Zeiss Finder was an appropriate match for my 21mm Elmarit, when used with the 28mm framelines. After all, 21 x 1.33=28. I have certainly used that combo often enough, without complaint. Today I discovered that the 25mm frame on the Zeiss is an even better match for my 21mm. I seem to get very accurate framing at distances of around 20 or 30 feet.
I also discovered today that the 28mm frameline on the Zeiss finder will not go to waste: It works just as well with my 24mm Elmarit as the 25mm frame does with my 21mm lens. Again, this is at distances over 100 focal lengths and more. I haven't checked at minimum focus.
What happy combinations of lenses and finders have you found for your gear?
